Kodawarians (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how the Putnik mobile application (the “App”) and this promotional website (the “Site”) handle information.

Summary

Putnik is designed to run primarily on your device. Translation and speech recognition use on-device models after you download them. We do not operate a backend that receives your conversations or translations from the App under normal use as described here. If you add analytics or cloud features later, update this policy and your Google Play Data safety form accordingly.

Information processed by the App (on-device)

Text you enter or dictate for translation, stored locally as part of conversations where the App is implemented to do so.
Audio from your microphone when you use speech features, processed on-device for recognition—not sent to our servers (we do not provide those servers for the App).
App preferences (e.g. language, theme) stored on your device.
Downloaded AI model files stored on your device after you download them over the internet.

Network use

The App uses the internet to download models and updates from hosting you configure in the app (or third-party CDNs used by those assets). After models are present, core translation and speech features are intended to work without a network connection. Third-party libraries may perform their own network requests (for example, font or dependency updates); review dependency notices in your build if required.

This website

The Site is a static marketing site. We do not use login or accounts on the Site as shipped in this repository. If you deploy with analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics), disclose that here, including cookies, purposes, and retention. If you do not use analytics, you may remove this sentence and state: “We do not use cookies or analytics on this Site.”

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). Do not use the App if you are under that age.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Much of the App data is local—you can delete conversations or uninstall the App to remove local data. For requests related to data we hold as a business, contact us at bojan@kodawarians.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App or Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
